Senior Stores Operative – CDE Group
Location: CDE Global, Cookstown, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Job Purpose: Ensure all material and parts are controlled and managed in an organised and efficient manner within the stores area, working closely with the Stores Supervisor to uphold Health & Safety standards and manage equipment, facilities and daily checks.
Responsibilities
* Adhering to company safety policies and procedures, at all times.
* Good inwards – goods off load, verify against paperwork and verify quality.
* Stock management – ensure stock is put away in applicable sections of stores.
* Dispatch – accurately 'pick' goods for fabrication, site, assembly or spares.
* Maintain target 5S standards for the work area and identify and implement improvements.
* Ensure all equipment is properly set-up, used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
* Stock counting – assist with the routine physical stock count and check stock levels on request.
Required Criteria
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
* Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
* Able to work under pressure.
* Enthusiastic, energetic self‑starter able to work on own initiative.
* Available to work flexible hours and clearance to work in the UK.
* Dependable and reliable.
Desired Criteria
* NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Warehousing/Stores.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Aisle Master or Bendi truck experience.
* Material picking using handheld scanners.
