Key Responsibilities
Build and implement Technical Solutions:
1. Assist Solution Architects with initial testing and POC of Cyber Security solutions.
2. Implement infrastructure, networking and integration components as per the approved design.
3. Collaborate with the Solution Architects to ensure all build related work is complete, documented and ready for testing.
4. Plan the deployment phase along with the Architects and Project Managers as per defined timelines.
Post Deployment Support:
5. Draft test plans along with Test managers and Architects for assigned projects.
6. Help with fixing any bugs identified during testing or pilot phase.
7. Review any incidents created in the projects service now queue and involve the appropriate teams to help fix them.
Stakeholder Engagement:
8. Ability to forge strong relationship with change management, project management team members.
9. Work with end users to fix any bugs post deployment of solutions.
Essential Experience
10. Proven experience working as security engineer on large scale programmes in the Cyber Security Portfolio largely on Identity based security, Data classification and Cyber Security Resilience.
11. Implementation knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID features like application integration, provisioning, MFA, SSPR and Conditional Access policies.
12. Prior experience deploying Data classification using Microsoft Purview for a large enterprise.
13. Experience collaborating with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to optimise security monitoring, response planning and execution.
14. Understanding of vulnerability management and threat landscape detection and remediation.
15. Proven experience in being part of Disaster Recovery and Business continuity testing for critical applications.
16. Ability to perform basic Active directory administration tasks for project work such as user, group and Group policy updates.
Essential Technical Skills & Qualifications
17. Experience of the M365 security stack : Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID, Device management using Intune, Identity Governance.
18. Cloud Security (Tenable, CyberArk, MDR,VPN)
19. Knowledge of best practices and procedures related to Cyber Essentials, UK DPA/GDPR
Desirable Experience
20. Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Checkpoint Firewalls and security policies
21. Ability to troubleshoot network related failures during deployments and identify root cause.
