TSH is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation, registered charity, independent school and NDIS provider that has helped children with speech, language and hearing difficulties lead fulfilling lives since 1966.
About Us
We are a proud Western Australian success story and a family centred practice. TSH (formally Telethon Speech & Hearing) provides integrated services for children with hearing loss and/or speech and language difficulties from newborns to 18-year-olds. A team of education professionals work collaboratively alongside allied health professionals to empower children to hear, communicate, connect and learn.
About the Role
The Customer Service and Administration Officer is one of the first points of contact our families have with TSH in Cockburn, providing them with information about our services that is clear, concise and accurate in a professional and friendly manner via email, phone and in person.
In addition to providing a high level of customer service, this role will be responsible for:
Providing efficient and proactive administrative support mainly to the Cockburn clinic but may extend to other locations as required
Demonstrating professionalism of high standard to deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming and assisting clients and visitors, answering phone calls, responding to emails, timely bookings and billings in line with TSH processes and procedures.
Working closely with the Practice Manager and Clinical and Administration Officer (Wembley)to undertake appointment and database management for the Cockburn clinic and other locations as required.
Obtaining knowledge of, and keep up to date with, TSH programs, services and events in order to appropriately direct enquiries
Timely process of clients’ billings, Medicare claiming, reconciling, reports, cancellations and outstanding open invoices in line with relevant procedures
Communicating with clinicians, Clinical Officer and Practice Manager to ensure relevant clinic stocks are replenished
Assisting in cleaning and disinfecting audiology toys, equipment and consumables as per protocols.
Maintaining stationery, brochures and printer stock and prepare stationary orders
Ensuring the Reception area is professionally presented
This is a two year fixed term contract working part time, three full days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
About You
You will be a nurturing and inclusive individual who has excellent administrative skills and training with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
In addition, to be successful in this role, you will have the following:
The ability to provide a high level of customer service independently
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Applications
Exceptional customer service and communication skills in order to convey information that is clear, concise and articulate as well as the ability to accurately comprehend information received.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the ability to plan and organise tasks that meet requirements and set timeframes
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a range of situations and use sensitivity as required
Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Clearance
