As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Office Administrator / Customer Services to join our team in Peterborough, South Orton.
The Role
This is a varied key support role within the business, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of office operations while delivering excellent service to customers. You will also support the warehouse and product distribution and provide holiday/absence cover for other office colleagues as required.
You will act as a central point of contact for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring efficient order processing, communication, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
· Act as the point of contact for NHS and private customers via phone and email
· Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
· Handle enquiries, queries, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
· Provide product information and support to customers where required
Administration
· Maintain and update customer records and databases
· Support the sales team with order processing, quotations, and account administration
· Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
· Assist with invoicing and general office documentation
· Provide holiday and absence cover across the office team to ensure smooth operations
Warehouse & Distribution Support
· Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate order fulfilment and dispatch
· Monitor stock levels and raise alerts to ensure availability
· Assist with packaging, labelling, and tracking shipments where required
· Support logistics processes to maintain timely delivery of products
Operational Support
· Assist with reporting and general business administration tasks
· Contribute to maintaining an efficient and organised office environment
· Support ad hoc projects as required
About You
· Previous experience in a customer service, administration, or office support role
· Experience in warehouse or distribution support is advantageous but not essential
· Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
· Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
· Experience working with NHS or healthcare customers is desirable
· Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
