About the Role: As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to data across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Data Flow Analyst to join our team in Hereford. As a Data Flow Analyst you’ll be working on site Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 What will you be doing as a Data Flow Analyst at Avara? As Data Flow Analyst you will s upport the Hereford leadership team with the management of various operational systems and processes across multiple departments, including CAT², IT, Logistics, and Projects. This role also involves managing system failures, performing data analysis, optimising processes. Additionally, the role will involve the creation and ongoing training & support of the Hereford site in terms of process & data management. What will your key responsibilities as a Data Flow Analyst include? CAT² Support: Provide the skills & knowledge to ensure our process are fully integrated with our automated systems Ensure the systems complement our financial reporting workstreams Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any failures within the system & physical process Ensure our systems are updated with the latest process changes IT Support: Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, including printer maintenance and related equipment. Offer technical support for site wide scan guns used within the operation. Assist with queries, ensuring efficient data retrieval and reporting Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the site. Lead initiatives for automating processes and reducing operational costs through innovative solutions and continuous improvement. Demonstrate the Company values to promote a culture of team engagement Support ongoing and future projects. What you’ll need to be successful: A proactive and enthusiastic individual with a strong ability to offer technical support to a team of skilled professionals, leveraging company values to ensure they have accurate and relevant data to succeed. Experience of working in an operational/warehouse environment essential, preferably within a food industry Develop excellent working relationships with the peers and colleagues to share best practice Computer literate Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across departments and levels Using trouble shooting techniques to improve overall performance and strive for continuous improvement Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Essential Strong technical background with experience in Microsoft 365 and CAT². Experience in various WMS with demonstrable contribution to delivering change and focussed improvement Desirable IOSH Managing safely, food safety management level 3 or desire to achieve within role. Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean principles.
