Duties
Processing orders with supply chain for products and materials.
Ensuring lead times and delivery dates from supply chain are managed and communicated to other departments as required.
To calculate part requirements from work schedules.
Assist the manufacturing manager with maintaining stock control and reorder levels.
Ensure all costs are entered on the ERP software and prices checked prior to ordering.
Liaising with suppliers over lead times and identifying the most cost effective and efficient solutions for the requirements.
Assisting the manufacturing manager with goods in administration and following up with suppliers any items damaged/omitted as necessary.
Maintaining excellent communication with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.
Ensuring customer is kept up to date with order status and delivery date to ensure customer satisfaction.
