JOB DESCRIPTION
Nation FC – East London
Nation FC is seeking experienced and passionate football coaches to join our coaching team for the 2026/27 season.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team within a growing grassroots football club committed to developing players both on and off the pitch.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Managing a team for the 2026/27 season
* Planning and delivering engaging training sessions
* Leading the team on matchdays
* Supporting player development and progression
* Building positive relationships with players and parents
* Working alongside the clubs coaching staff and management team
* Promoting high standards of behaviour, discipline and professionalism
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous football coaching experience
* Experience working with children in a sporting environment
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* FA Coaching Qualification preferred
* Reliable, committed and organised
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Passion for player development and grassroots football

QUALIFICATIONS
* Coaching skills, including planning and leading training sessions and skill development
* Leadership and mentorship abilities to guide and inspire players
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with players, staff, and stakeholders
* Knowledge of football rules, strategies, and techniques; certification in sports coaching is a plus
* Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback for player improvement
* Experience in youth or amateur football coaching is advantageous but not required
* Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment
