Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and are proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support, and in return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop if you decide to grow your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Are you seeking a job that offers variety and is satisfying? Do you enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference? We currently have casual/relief opportunities for caring, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals to join our Bank support team in Milton of Campsie near Kirkintilloch.

Our Support Workers work in a flexible and customer-led manner that meets the needs and preferences of people we support, enabling them to live the life they choose.

You will need to be flexible, committed, and dedicated to supporting an individual who has complex autism, following a detailed care and support plan. You will work as part of an established team and have an understanding of how to communicate effectively with someone who does not use verbal speech. You should be willing to spend time getting to know this individual and build a trusting relationship. Having the ability to deal with complex situations and problem solve is essential, along with self-reflection and working with colleagues to make necessary support adjustments.

We want to hear from dedicated team players with experience in supporting adults with Autism who are willing to adapt their approach to provide innovative, person-centred support to this individual and help him achieve his goals.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving license.

You’ll be joining an award-winning charity, in an exciting role where you can transform someone else’s life while transforming your own too! Whatever your background, there’s a rewarding career in care for you – one where you can follow your passions and learn new skills.

Our values:

We recognize that it takes a special person to work in social care, and we value individuals’ personal qualities. We recruit from all walks of life, including those with experience in support work, care assistance, lived experiences with disabilities, or no experience at all.

We prioritize our company values: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable. These values are central to everything we do, ensuring we provide high-quality, consistent care and support. We seek people with:

* Patience
* Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity
* A strong work ethic
* Reliability
* Honesty
* Determination
* A problem-solving mindset
* Resilience
