As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to responsible construction, Luddon Construction is seeking an experienced Environment & Sustainability Advisor to support the effective delivery of environmental and sustainability standards across our operational divisions, including civil engineering, utilities, Energy, and building projects.
Recent awards, such as a major infrastructure framework with SP Energy Networks, highlight the scale and importance of our work in supporting a more sustainable built environment. This role will play a critical part in ensuring we meet both legal and client expectations across our diverse project portfolio.
Job Purpose
To effectively support Financial Controller, produce and analyse management accounts.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Assist the Financial Controller to produce monthly management accounts
Compilation and processing of internal charges
Posting invoices to and reconciling turnover system
Processing of sub con/professional fee accruals
Reconcile job cost to nominal ledger and issue first run of costs
Issue of monthly job cost transactions
Deal with cost queries from staff
BACS payments
Faster payments
Bank reconciliation
WIP reconciliation
Maintenance of petty cash and sub balances
General accounts analysis
Maintain Fixed Asset Register
Mentor Apprentice Management Accountant
National Statistic reporting
Ad Hoc Duties
Ad hoc reporting for FC
Contribute to improving department procedures/reporting
Deputise for FC in their absence
Post payroll & sub contractors ledger if required
Required
Professional Accountancy Qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CA)
Advanced excel skills
Desirable
Construction Industry Experience
2 years post qualification experience
