Overview

To work as a member of the nursing team, under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse. Undertakes delegated personal care duties for patients/clients. To provide support for the Registered Nursing staff in maintaining a stable and safe clinical environment. Main duties of a senior clinical support worker include:

* Cannulation
* Vena‑puncture
* Wound care
* Personal care
* Plastering
