Are you a confident, experienced care professional with a passion for supporting families? We’re looking for a Team Leader to join Haylen Lodge in Sowerby Bridge. This is a busy and rewarding role, supporting parents and children as they undertake parenting assessments in a therapeutic, child-centred environment. You will play a vital part in helping families build their confidence and parenting skills while ensuring high standards of safeguarding and support. What you’ll do: Lead shifts and supervise a team of Family Support Workers and Senior Family Support Workers Provide direct support to families in line with individual support and development plans Contribute to parenting assessments using ParentAssess and the Working Together framework Promote positive outcomes for families by encouraging life skills, independence, and safe childcare practices Uphold OFSTED standards and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment Support new admissions, transitions, and departures with sensitivity and professionalism Liaise with social workers and other professionals to ensure the needs of each family are met What you’ll bring: NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Health and Social Care (or working towards it) Experience supporting vulnerable families in a residential or safeguarding setting Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and child development Leadership qualities and experience supervising or mentoring others Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to work across a rolling shift pattern, including evenings and weekends What we can offer you: Career Development – We offer many career paths, recognising hard work & supporting you into senior roles.
