Beginning September 2025. Duties as Head of Geography: Lead and manage the Geography department, including curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development. Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (where applicable). Monitor and track student progress, ensuring high standards of achievement and effective intervention strategies. Promote a love of geography through enrichment opportunities, trips, and extra-curricular activities. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and play an active role in the wider school community. Ideal Head of Geography: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Geography. Experience teaching Geography across a range of key stages, with excellent subject knowledge. Proven ability to inspire, lead, and motivate both students and staff. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills as Head of Geography.
