Service Engineer – Forestry & Recycling – Newark-on-Trent, Midlands

What’s on offer
* £17-£21.50 per hour, based on experience
* Regular overtime opportunities at increased rate
* Overtime on Monday – Saturday paid at 1.33 x hourly rate
* Overtime on Sundays and Bank Holiday paid at 1.66 x hourly rate
* 22 days holiday per year

The duties of a Service Engineer will include:
* Carrying out work on Forestry & Recycling machinery
* Engine work
* Hydraulic builds
* Electrical work
* Fitting of components
* Attending breakdowns
* General maintenance work
* Completion of Workshop based work as and when required
What you will need:
* Time served experience as a Service Engineer or Workshop Engineer working on Forestry and/or Recycling machinery
* Hard working ethic with an understanding and experience of completing ‘price work’ to a high standard
* Relevant experience and knowledge of servicing/maintaining heavy equipment
* Commercially minded and astute with a ‘get the job done’ attitude
* Good time management skills and able to estimate and hit target labour times
* Must possess a good work ethic and able to work on their own
* Based within a commutable distance to location
* Willingness to go above and beyond, enthusiastic towards their work and the brand reputation
* Wants to grow with the company and embrace the variation on work, industry & location
* Wants to be part of a dynamic team and make a difference
* Positive and responsible with a solutions-based attitude
