Lloyds Clinical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Phlebotomy Healthcare Assistant to join our Clinical Contact Centre team. The role involves visiting patients in person to perform blood draws and providing remote support, ensuring the highest levels of care and professionalism. You will coordinate and manage patient care, maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, and ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
 * Educate patients on the phlebotomy process.
 * Offer emotional support and reassure patients throughout the care journey.
 * Perform blood draws with strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
 * Proactively follow up with patients after visits.
 * Coordinate appointments with the scheduling team and monitor the blood inbox.
 * Ensure patients receive necessary equipment and care.
 * Maintain patient confidentiality and complete all required consent forms.
 * Report any changes in patient health or adverse events.
Qualifications & Skills
 * Skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist with a strong foundation in phlebotomy techniques.
 * Attention to detail and a keen focus on safety.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * Ability to build rapport with patients and provide reassurance.
 * Adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and relevant legislation.
 * Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between patients throughout the day.
