* 1st 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £24.93 per hour + £3.00 Hol Pay - £27.93 per hour
* Over 40 Hours Mon-Fri & Sat All Hrs: £30.86 per hour + £3.72 hol pay - £34.58 per hour
Overview
Integrate Resources Group is looking for a Welders Mate to assist in the fabrication, burning and assisting welders of large-scale structures in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to work on a prestigious industrial project, supporting skilled welders in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Assisting welders with the preparation and setup of materials.
* Handling and positioning steel components for welding.
* Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces.
* Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
* Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements
* CSCS card
* Previous experience as a Welders Mate or similar role.
* Use of a grinder - Abrasive Wheels Training would be ideal
* Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).
* Good awareness of health & safety practices.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
