Summary of role:
The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, prioritisation, and execution throughout the product lifecycle, for the Brainomix stroke product portfolio including the flagship e-Stroke solution. This will involve working closely and collaboratively with customers, with internal Brainomix colleagues in the clinical, R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams, and with external third parties e.g. partners and distributors as well as continually assessing competitive technologies. The Product Manager will ensure product features match customer needs and will be responsible for defining the roadmap and future direction of Brainomix products in this clinical area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap
* Gather and prioritize customer, regulatory, marketing, and developer requirements
* Maintain expert knowledge of the clinical application area and future clinical direction
* Collect and review customer feedback, including use of surveys, prototypes, and direct customer contact
* Define and document user and technical requirements, at a detail level suitable for the research and development team to implement
* Plan and manage product releases, including coordination of marketing, testing, QA/RA processes, and pilot deployments
* Communicate with and manage expectations of external stakeholders
* Maintain and expand relationships with external third parties to assess and implement partnership and/or licensing opportunities
* Run pilot programmes for new features and algorithms
* Understand competing companies and products at an expert level
* Use internal IT systems to keep track of communication, project milestones, project status and reporting, and to manage budgets
* Ensure adherence to Regulatory requirements and Quality Standards
Requirements
Required Experience:
* Experience of software product management throughout the product lifecycle
* Use of issue trackers to manage work on features, improvements and bugfixes
* Understanding of clinical customer needs within the stroke imaging pathway
* Ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team including software developers, data scientists, clinicians, regulatory and commercial experts
* Strong written communication skills, including technical writing and user-facing communications
Desired knowledge and skills:
* Experience working within a medical device regulatory environment
* Working knowledge of CT and MRI imaging protocols for stroke
* Understanding of the competitive landscape within stroke imaging
* Experience of product management for mobile apps and web applications
* Understanding of internationalisation and localisation for software products
* Have your own vision for the Brainomix software product roadmap for stroke
