I'm currently working with a rapidly growing FMCG business who are a true market leader in their sector. They are seeking a junior buyer / assistant buyer / graduate buyer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their career in buying, or for someone with around 12 -24 month's of relevant experience who is eager to further develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with the Buying Director and wider buying team
2. Communicate with global suppliers via email
3. Prepare, request, and produce accurate quotes
4. Build strong working relationships with retail partners
5. Ensure goods are delivered on time and to the correct locations
6. Create and manage purchase orders for multiple customers
About You
7. Degree in a relevant business-related discipline (or equivalent experience)
8. Able to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
10. Confident IT user with solid Excel skills
