Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a new Credit Control position for an international company in Bracknell. The role involves full responsibility for the accounts receivable ledger, chasing payments, and handling customer queries.
Responsibilities include:
1. Tracking payment terms and credit limits.
2. Running credit checks and setting customer credit limits.
3. Actively chasing customers for payment.
4. Setting up new customer accounts.
5. Reconciling accounts.
6. Sending out copy invoices, delivery notes, and statements.
7. Liaising with customers and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
8. Taking credit card payments.
9. Ensuring received money is allocated to the correct accounts.
10. Producing weekly and monthly aged debt reports.
Skills and experience required:
* Prior experience in credit control and managing a ledger of accounts.
* Self-motivated and highly organized.
* Strong communication skills.
* Good team player.
