An exciting opportunity for a West Midlands based Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of Environmental Consultants, has presented itself. This opportunity allows for technically challenging and industry leading work on a variety of projects, and an opportunity to lead a team.

Team leading allowing for supported career development and experience.This Principal Geotechnical Engineer position will involve a variety of roles and responsibilities. This includes overseeing all site and report work, managing contracts, communicating with clients, tendering, groundwater and gas monitoring, desk studies and interpretative report writing. You'll be in an excellent initial position to move into a managerial role, should you wish, taking on business development responsibilities and overseeing aspects of the company.
The Principal Geotechnical Engineer position requires:
Familiarity and experience with UK site investigation techniques.
Extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes relating to contaminated land.
A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering or a similar, relevant subject.
Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
Commutable to Birmingham.
