The Role & Responsibilities Working with highly motivated and talented students, you will deliver a curriculum that pushes far beyond the standard requirements of examination boards.
* Subject Instruction: Teaching Music across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, with a focus on harmony, composition, and musicology.
* Performance Leadership: Directing school-wide ensembles, orchestras, or contemporary bands for annual high-profile concerts.
* Academic Stretching: Guiding students through scholarship applications and preparation for Conservatoire or university music entrance exams.
* Curriculum Innovation: Developing elective courses in niche areas like Film Scoring or Music Technology.
Requirements
* Degree: A degree in Music, Performance, or Composition.
* QTS: Mandatory.
* Right to Work: Candidates must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
Salary & Contract Details
* Salary Range: £37,868 – £56,154 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent)
