We're looking for an Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the site, ensuring all activities are completed safely, accurately, and in line with company procedures. This is a key role within the operation, supporting the Operations Manager while maintaining strong relationships across departments and with customers. Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day office and administrative operations, ensuring all site functions are completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards, while supporting the Operations Manager as deputy.
* Team Leadership & Engagement – Lead, monitor, and support your team to achieve targets, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous development.
* Customer & Operational Management – Oversee the site's customer base, including onboarding and communication, while managing stock administration and ensuring compliance with customer and operational requirements.
* Planning & Performance – Review and manage the site's operational diary, allocate resources effectively, and monitor KPIs to drive productivity, service levels, and continuous improvement.
* Systems & Reporting – Ensure the correct use of WMS systems, carrying out regular checks, producing reports, and sharing performance insights with site leadership.
* HR, Compliance & Communication – Monitor attendance, timekeeping and overtime, support HR processes, and work closely with site management and central teams to maintain compliance and drive operational development.
Qualifications
* Experience in an office management or administrative leadership role, ideally within a logistics or warehouse environment.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience using systems such as WMS and TMS, with confidence in reporting and data analysis.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage internal stakeholders and customer relationships.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
* Good understanding of HR processes and health and safety requirements.
