We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Program Leave Management Assistant to join our team at Nelson Jubilee Manor in Nelson, B.C.

What Will You Work On?
This position performs a variety of administrative support functions and clerical duties related to planning and processing employee vacation and leave information. Typical duties include:
* Typing correspondence, reports, forms, presentations, newsletters, and other documents from rough drafts or general instructions.
* Coordinating meetings, booking rooms and equipment, arranging catering, sending requests, and circulating agendas.
* Arranging travel, booking flights, vehicles, and accommodations.
* Receiving invoices, preparing staff expenses, reimbursements, and monthly statements.
* Performing patient registration and cashier duties as required.
* Providing information to the Purchasing Department for contract generation.
* Maintaining office supplies and generating purchase orders.
* Preparing statistical data and visualizations using appropriate software.
* Managing records through electronic and manual filing systems.
* Maintaining web communications and intranet/sharepoint sites.
* Reviewing and verifying entitlement for vacation, leave of absence, and banked time requests.
* Updating vacation planning calendars and tracking spreadsheets.
Application Requirements:
* A current 5-minute typing certificate of 55 wpm completed within the last 48 months from an approved institution.
* Your resume indicating two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
