The role is offered on a part-time basis (2 days per week), with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available by agreement.
Key Responsibilities of a Private Sector Housing Manager: HMO Licensing and compliance Private Sector Housing enforcement activity Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) inspections and interventions Ensuring statutory compliance across housing enforcement functions Leading service improvement and operational performance Supporting strategic priorities relating to housing standards and tenant protection Working collaboratively with internal departments, landlords, residents, and external stakeholders You will provide clear operational leadership across the service, ensuring a balanced and proactive approach to enforcement while maintaining a strong focus on improving housing standards and resident outcomes.
