We’re looking for a Recycling Project Officer to join our Waste Management team.
In this role, no two days are the same, but what makes this role exciting?
Responsibilities
* Lead on exciting projects within the Waste Management team.
* Engage with residents and businesses throughout the city to educate on all things waste and recycling.
* Introduce innovative initiatives to support the Council’s sustainable waste strategy to minimise waste and maximise reduce, reuse and recycle.
* Be part of the new Simpler Recycling strategy for England and the roll out within the city.
* Serve as the go-to person for resolving operational waste management issues quickly and effectively.
* Keep digital resources fresh and accurate.
* Design and deliver creative waste minimisation campaigns for residents, schools, and businesses, working closely with community and voluntary organisations.
* Complaint investigation and resolution by following through with the end-to-end process.
