Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Dundee
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for precision and teamwork? We are a leading name in textile innovation, is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team at our Dundee headquarters.
Responsibilities
* Post daily cash receipts and issue sales invoices
* Reconcile sales ledger and general ledger monthly
* Process purchase invoices with accurate coding and VAT treatment
* Ensure timely supplier payments and manage BACS (including international)
* Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions
* Handle expense claims and agent commission payments
* Respond to finance-related queries via email and phone
* Assist with month-end reporting and general filing
What Were Looking For
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar accounting role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A proactive, "can-do" attitude and team spirit
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach
