We are working directly with a welcoming and well-organised Gateshead primary school that has a KS1 classroom ready now and requires a Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) to step in.
This is a long-term opportunity with strong potential to become permanent for the right teacher. The school has clear routines, supportive leadership, and experienced teaching assistants already in place.
The Role:
* Full teaching responsibility for a KS1 class
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Working closely with teaching assistants and the KS1 lead

Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* KS1 teaching experience (including supply or long-term roles)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
