This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing, hardworking individual passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans and activities.
* Encourage children’s confidence and independence within the classroom.
* Assist with academic tasks, including literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.
* Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
* Foster positive relationships with children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
* A passion for helping young children achieve their full potential.
* Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.
* A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
* Ability to travel between schools is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanence later.
