Responsibilities
* Lead and support a diverse portfolio of work across patient safety, risk management, clinical audit, assurance, and compliance.
* Help prepare and maintain Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration and readiness for inspection.
* Deliver internal assurance activity and support services to develop and embed quality improvement plans.
* Analyse data and performance information to identify risks, trends and learning.
* Work with staff and service users to codesign improvements through workshops and engagement activities.
* Support the development of clear governance systems, dashboards and high-quality reports.
* Every day, make a meaningful impact on how care is delivered and contribute to safer, smarter, more innovative services.
Qualifications
* Confidently balance multiple priorities, with strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality and safety.
* A friendly, confident communicator who builds positive relationships with colleagues and external partners, bringing a proactive, can-do approach to team working.
* Experience in, or a strong desire to develop within, clinical governance, quality assurance or healthcare improvement.
* Confidence working with CQC standards, regulatory frameworks and statutory requirements.
* Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
* Take a collaborative approach and can positively influence and support change.
* Committed to developing yourself and others, with a genuine passion for innovation, learning and improving patient safety.
* Must have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an appropriate level and be registered with the DBS Update Service within 30 calendar days of issuance.
