EXAM INVIGILATORS Casual Hours – Term Time only B&NES Grade 1 Point 3 (£12.85 per hour) Required as soon as possible, organised, calm, enthusiastic people, with an interest in working with and supporting young people, are required to join our friendly team of Exam Invigilators. This is a casual, term time only position and hours and days will vary according to need, invigilating for internal exams in November (two weeks) and February/March (two weeks) followed by public exams after Easter until the end of June. Having achieved excellent results in summer 2025, Buckler’s Mead Academy is going from strength to strength. Our most recent Ofsted, in May 2024, judged us as a strong ‘Good’ in all areas. Duties include preparing the exam room, ensuring candidates are seated according to the seating plan, distributing exam papers and supervising the exam. In addition, invigilators may be asked to act as a reader or a scribe for students with an exam access arrangement. We are looking for someone who is a team player, with good communication skills and who can work confidently and efficiently to support the Exams Officer and our students at these busy times. You will need to be available from 8am on exam days and ideally be able to commit to at least three days per week during exam periods. Experience is not required as full training will be provided.
