Overview of Role:
As a cleaning operative, you will be required to undertake cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
(The CQC is the body which makes sure health services provide people with safe, effective, and compassionate care.)
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Ensure that assigned areas are clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times to improve customer experience.
2. Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, in line with operational standards.
3. Present and conduct yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
4. Carry out all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
5. This role can be physically demanding and may involve lifting.
6. Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting to meet high hygiene standards.
7. Organize and assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
8. Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
9. Take responsibility for your area, ensuring it meets high standards.
10. Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
11. Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
12. Perform any reasonable requests from your line manager relevant to your role.
About You:

* Enhanced DBS check required.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
