Job Description To provide an effective clerical support function to the Community Care Finance Team to ensure the efficient operation of the service. Responsibilities Provide an effective clerical support function to the Community Care Finance Team to ensure the efficient operation of the service. Provide a reception service to the Community Care Finance Team, dealing with incoming enquiries to the service. To utilise several IT systems on a daily basis for maintaining accurate service user information. Organise incoming and outgoing mail for the department and maintain a comprehensive filing system. Provide cover for Administration Assistants when required. To participate in and contribute to team meetings and discussions in order to continuously improve team efficiency. The Individual Previous experience in an office environment in a clerical/administrative role. Experience in Microsoft Office. 4 National 4/5 Grades or equivalent. Self motivated. Effective communication skills with ability to work professionally, effectively and empathetically with service users and their families. Demonstrate ability in relation to accuracy and attention to detail. Effective organisational skills including time management. Ability to build effective working relationships with people. Willingness to accept direction/delegation. Effective team working skills. Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service. Ability to work from different offices dependent upon service requirements. Promotes a positive working culture.
