Key Responsibilities
*
Provide administrative and secretarial support to fee-earners (solicitors / legal execs) in your allocated team
*
Prepare, format, proofread, and produce legal correspondence and documentation
*
Audio and copy dictation typing
*
Open, maintain, and close client files; manage case-management workflows
*
Arrange meetings, manage diaries, and coordinate travel
*
Deal professionally with client enquiries, as well as liaise with external parties (e.g. Land Registry, court, third parties)
*
Support with billing processes, client care, and general office admin
Person Specification
*
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal PA in a law firm
*
Strong typing skills (audio / dictation competency is a plus)
*
High attention to detail, excellent literacy, and strong proof-reading ability
*
Excellent organisational and time-management skills; ability to prioritise and multi-task
*
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and legal case-management systems
*
Professional, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
