Permanent Assistant Management Accountant job with a successful manufacturing company in the S Stockport area. Your new company A successful and well-established manufacturing company who operate across the UK are now looking to recruit for a management accounting position within their finance team. Your new role Reporting to the FC, this will be a hands-on position with a variety of tasks within management accounts for 3 group entities. Collaborating with your finance colleagues, you will be processing daily bank reconciliations, VAT returns, ensuring the accounts payable invoices are processed in time for the month-end close, costing reports and monitoring the WIP. At month-end, you will reconcile the monthly statements, reviewing cost reports, posting payroll journals, accruals/prepayments, depreciation and calculation of stock reports and sales. You will also start to get involved in variance analysis and profit and loss calculations as well as balance sheet reconciliation. What you'll need to succeed With a proven track record in management accounts, you are likely to be hands-on and therefore either be a stopped studier, although some studying their qualifications will also be considered. With a varied skill set, you will also offer an adaptable and enthusiastic manner with excellent attention to detail in order to spot any anomalies. A team player, you will be looking for a management accounting position offering stability within the team.
