Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Fostering Team for Achieving for Children
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Undertaking assessments of prospective foster carers, including connected persons and mainstream fostering assessments.
* Providing supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to foster carers.
* Completing annual foster carer reviews and preparing reports for fostering panels.
* Working closely with children in care, foster carers, birth families, and partner agencies.
* Supporting foster carers with safeguarding concerns, placement disruptions, and behavioural management strategies.
* Ensuring all statutory visits, recordings, and documentation are completed accurately and within required timescales.
* Contributing to care planning and permanency planning for children looked after.
* Applying fostering regulations, national minimum standards, and safeguarding legislation within practice.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working
Pay Rate:
* £37.52 p/h Umb
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience within Children's Social Care
* Previous experience within a Fostering Team
* Social Work England Registration
* Thorough knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding legislation
