Quantity Surevyor Greater Manchester Full-Time Company Car Expenses 50k plus Bonus As a Quantity Surveyor, you will have full ownership and responsibility for managing commercial aspects across all projects, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This position is an in-person role, based at our offices in Salford Quays, with regular site visits required. Your responsibilities will include: · Commercial management of all projects · Reviewing and negotiating Contract T&C’s along with MD · Preparation of valuations and interim applications for payment · Preparation and agreement of final accounts · Monitoring and analysing operative productivity · Forecasting and reporting on project profitability · Reviewing contracts, purchase orders, and payment notifications · Completing and filing self-billing agreements, remittances, and VAT receipts · Developing and refining commercial processes and procedures · Conducting regular site visits · Managing the change control process and valuing variations/CE’s including liaising with the estimating team where necessary · Maintaining and building strong client relationships through clear communication · Helping to mitigate commercial risks · Support MD with any contractual disputes · Managing commercial contractual correspondence / notices etc. About You: You will be proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and innovative thinking. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and commercial awareness are key.
