EYFS/KS1 Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Good working knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum. Have experience of supporting quality learning experiences for pupils and delivering small group work. Follow school policies and procedures with regards to safeguarding and behaviour. Assess the needs of pupils and possess the ability to work with children of mixed abilities including SEND. The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students. Showing initiative and asking for direction if needed. KS1 Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements: Relevant qualifications or teaching assistant experience in the classroom (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare). UK experience as a teaching assistant. An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to complete a new DBS. Why Trust Education?
