Job overview
This is a fixed-term contract linked to a specific student. The contract will end on an agreed expiry date or earlier if the student leaves the school or funding is withdrawn.
You will assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, both for the whole class and individual students. Responsibilities include preparing resources, supporting learning activities, and ensuring pastoral care. You will also evaluate student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to meet all students' learning needs.
Job requirements
* A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
* Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
* Experience in class supervision and assisting with lessons to achieve positive outcomes
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teaching staff
* Empathy and understanding towards students' needs
