Make a Difference Every Day A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking a caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young girl with autism.

You’ll be joining a supportive staff team where every child is valued, and where your contribution will play a vital role in a child’s growth, confidence, and daily success.
About the Role:
Provide 1:1 support for a bright, curious young girl with autism
Help her engage in learning, build confidence, and develop independence
Assist with communication, social skills and emotional regulation
Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team
Create a calm, nurturing and encouraging learning environment
Adapt activities and resources to meet her individual needs
What We’re Looking For:
A warm, patient and understanding individual
Experience supporting children with autism (preferred, not essential)
A genuine passion for working with SEND pupils
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Someone who can bring positivity, creativity, and encouragement to each day
Reliability, empathy and commitment to long-term support
