Due to a significant phase of growth, we are seeking a Purchasing Executive to strengthen our Purchasing team.
What does the role look like?
As a Purchasing Executive, you'll be a key operational force within our Purchasing team, supporting the Purchasing Manager in delivering timely, cost‑effective, and compliant purchasing decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Each day, you'll carry out structured market research, source and evaluate supplier quotations, and provide commercially sound recommendations that guide purchasing outcomes.
You'll build and maintain a strong understanding of the aviation supplier landscape, tracking trends, performance, and risks to ensure we always act with the best insight available. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll help balance demand, urgency, cost, and compliance; whether handling routine purchasing activity or supporting AOG requirements. With hands-on involvement across sourcing, negotiation, data accuracy, and supplier engagement, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding operational continuity and driving value for the business.
Who You Are:
You're a commercially minded, proactive purchasing professional who thrives in a fast-moving aviation environment. You're confident evaluating vendor options, negotiating effectively, and presenting clear recommendations rooted in both commercial logic and regulatory awareness.
Detail‑focused and analytical, you bring strong organisational skills and a keen eye for accuracy, particularly when working in Quantum and handling certification requirements. You're comfortable managing multiple priorities, working at pace, and communicating confidently with suppliers and internal teams alike. Above all, you're motivated by delivering high‑quality service and contributing to the continued growth and performance of the business.
What You'll Bring:
