Registered Manager - Bedfont Lane Children’s Home
We are opening a brand new purpose‑built six‑bedroom residential children’s home (Bedfont Lane) in Hounslow early next year, designed to support Looked After Children with complex and challenging behavioural needs As the Registered Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, standards, and success of this home from day one.
About the Role
You will lead the strategic, operational and regulatory leadership of a newly established children’s residential home. Your responsibilities include:
* Recruiting and developing residential staff.
* Managing care planning and safeguarding procedures.
* Building strong relationships with children, families and professionals.
* Ensuring the home meets Quality Standards and delivers positive outcomes.

About the Team
The Children’s Safeguarding and Specialist Services team is dedicated to protecting and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people. The team includes:
* Residential Manager
* Deputy Managers
* Senior Residential Support Workers
* Residential Support Workers
* A Chef/Cook
* A Handyperson
* A Domestic Cleaner
About You
You are a confident, compassionate, and experienced leader with a proven track record in residential childcare. Essential qualifications and experience:
* Extensive experience managing residential teams and inspiring staff.
* Strong working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, The Children Act and Ofsted inspection framework.
* Strategic and operational skills: managing budgets, leading inspections, developing policies.
* Excellent communication, conflict resolution and emotional resilience.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) and registered with Ofsted.
