Are you detail-oriented, organised, and looking to build your career in finance? DN Colleges Group is seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join our Finance team, supporting the transactional functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cashier services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic finance department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records across the Group. You’ll play a key role in processing invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Ideally studying towards AAT Level 2, with a strong foundation in maths
2. Previous financial experience in a large organisation
3. Understanding of transactional finance processes including Accounts Payable and Receivable
4. Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines
5. Effective communication skills and a positive attitude to process improvement
Key Responsibilities
6. Process purchase invoices and reconcile supplier statements
7. Respond to supplier queries and manage debt chasing activities
8. Input sales invoices, receipts, and journals into the finance system
9. Support cash management and respond to student and staff fee enquiries
10. Assist with financial operations during key college events such as enrolments and exams
11. Ensure compliance with College Financial Regulations and policies

The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
