Role
Due to company expansion, we are looking for an experienced site manager to lead crucial commercial construction projects, ranging from £500K - £5M. The role will work closely with the client, the contracts and estimating department, engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead a team of direct employees and sub-contractors via encouragement and motivation
* Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised
* Assume responsibility for the successful delivery of projects
* Deliver the work safely and without environmental incidents
* Deliver the work to the specified standards without defects
* Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's, in line with company procedures
* Produce and manage the project programme and forecast upcoming works
* Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks
Requirements
* Demonstrates qualities to deliver Trustland values e.g. honesty, integrity, teamwork, health + well-being, sustainability
* Excellent people, communication & management skills
* 5 years of construction management experience is essential
* 5 years of experience in commercial / industrial construction
* Proficient in Microsoft Project or Asta Powerproject
* Degree educated in a construction-related discipline
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £50,000.00-£59,000.00 per year
