We are seeking a Technical Contract Supervisor to take a leading role in the delivery of technical services across a large and complex operational environment.
The Opportunity
As the Technical Contract Supervisor, you'll be the site's primary point of contact for all technical service delivery. You'll manage a skilled team to deliver planned, corrective and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional service at all times.
This role is ideal for someone currently operating at supervisory level on a major FM contract-or an existing manager ready to step into a broader and more strategically significant role.
What You'll Be Doing
Leadership & Service Delivery
Act as the Technical Services lead for all in-scope and out-of-scope technical activities
Drive maintenance excellence and continuous improvement
Manage a team of technicians, maximising self-delivery wherever possible
Oversee and coordinate specialist subcontractors, ensuring all works meet CBRE and client compliance standards
Technical Management
Plan and schedule all maintenance activities efficiently
Support and occasionally undertake maintenance/repair activities when required
Provide technical solutions and quotations for small project works
Maintain strong performance in health, safety, and environmental standards
People & Performance
Develop training plans and meaningful succession pathways for the team
Ensure technicians remain fully trained and competent
Lead by example and support technicians in daily operations
Financial & Stakeholder Management
Work with the Technical Contract Manager to manage budgets effectively
Identify opportunities for expanded scope and additional services
Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
What You'll Bring
Strong engineering background (Electrical and Mechanical)
Solid understanding of maintenance processes and work order systems
Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills
Confidence in managing multiple priorities
Effective communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and motivate
Knowledge of EHS requirements and safe systems of work
Ideally some AP experience (HV, LV, Pressure, Confined Space etc.)
Basic understanding of FM contract financial processes
About the Environment
You'll be working within a complex, multi-asset setting that includes a wide range of technical systems, such as:
High and low voltage infrastructure
Chillers, boilers, AHUs and HVAC plant
Fire safety systems
Lifts, escalators and access systems
Building fabric and lighting systems
