Overview
This L500 rated Essex firm seeks a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their busy and expanding team in Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied caseload and contribute to the continued success of one of the region's leading firms.
Responsibilities
* Providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial property transactions including:
o Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property
o Property development and strategic land projects
o Commercial landlord and tenant matters (leases, renewals, break clauses)
o Portfolio and estate management
* Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and ancillary documents
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Contributing to business development initiatives
About you
* Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' experience in commercial property
* Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions, lease negotiations, and landlord / tenant issues
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
