Create impactful visual content supporting the Royal Air Force

The role
As a Graphic Designer, you’ll be part of a creative and innovative team delivering a wide range of design projects across multiple departments. You’ll produce visually compelling content that supports communication, engagement and brand identity, while working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for a designer with strong foundations in print and digital design, and an interest in developing skills in motion graphics, illustration and immersive technologies.
Day-to-day, you will be:
1. Designing high‑quality graphics for print and digital use, including brochures, reports, advertising campaigns and visual identities.
2. Creating and updating digital content such as infographics, layouts and motion graphics using the Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Managing and producing visual assets across multiple projects while maintaining brand and quality standards.
4. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver creative solutions that meet user needs.
5. Developing your skills in illustration, motion graphics and emerging design technologies, sharing knowledge within the team.
This is a full‑time, onsite role, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Essential experience of the Graphic Designer:
6. Strong creative and technical graphic design skills.
7. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
8. A keen interest in illustration and motion graphics.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines.
Qualifications for the Graphic Designer:
10. HNC, BTEC Higher Diploma, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant creative or arts discipline.
11. Full, clean UK driving licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
