About Swalwell Primary School
The Head Teacher and Governors of Swalwell Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated class teacher to join our inclusive school. We are a mainstream primary school with two ARMS (Additional Resource Mainstream School) for children with physical disabilities and ASc learners. Our school places learners at the heart of all we do.
Candidate Profile
1. Committed child-centred practitioner focusing on holistic development.
2. Creative and enthusiastic teacher willing to collaborate with the school community.
3. Experience in raising achievement standards and supporting children to reach their full potential.
4. Knowledge and experience working with mainstream learners and those with additional needs within a KS2 setting.
5. Ability to adapt teaching approaches across different school phases.
6. Collaborative partner with children, staff, parents, and governors to support individual potential.
7. Experience dealing with high levels of SEMH and SEND pupils.
