Overall Purpose of the Job
Work under general supervision within a Workshop environment carrying out maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs to equipment including Winches, Masts, Pumping Units, etc. Prepare equipment to Company standards safely for operational use.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
* Undertake preventative/predictive maintenance and diagnosis/repair of equipment as per work plans, ensuring quality and certification standards are met.
* Assist with rigging up, building, and rigging down equipment.
* Drive a forklift if required for movement, loading, and unloading of equipment.
* Conduct equipment inspections and prepare documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, using the correct document revisions.
* Update job packs and report to the supervisor at the end of each work period.
* Participate in morning safety meetings and discuss maintenance, mobilisation/demobilisation updates, etc.
* Coordinate with logistics and stores to ensure timely component availability and movement for operational needs.
* Attend toolbox talks and planning meetings as required.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and operations personnel to ensure safe and efficient task completion.
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
* Technical qualification relevant to maintenance roles.
* Experience in maintaining winches, masts, and pumping units.
* Forklift license and gantry crane experience are advantages but not essential.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
