About The Role
Are you ready to take the culinary lead at Butlin’s? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join our vibrant team in Minehead!
At Butlin’s, we believe that every seaside trip deserves fantastic food. As part of our Restaurants Department, you’ll have the chance to inspire and develop our talented kitchen team, ensuring that every guest enjoys a delightful dining experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and mentoring Junior Kitchen Managers to ensure smooth shifts.
* Maintaining compliance with food safety and Health & Safety policies.
* Placing orders for food items and ensuring adherence to HACCP processes.
* Collaborating with the Food Development Team to tackle operational challenges.
* Implementing cost control measures and monitoring waste.
* Fostering a cooperative environment between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
About You
We’re searching for a passionate individual with:
* Previous experience in a similar kitchen management role.
* A proven track record of developing team performance in a commercial culinary setting.
* A hardworking and determined attitude, always seeking better ways to uphold our brand standards.
* Energetic and enthusiastic spirit, ready to enhance the guest experience.
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confidence in leading a busy kitchen team.
