We are looking for enthusiastic and talented special educational needs Teaching Assistant (SEN) to work with children that have SEMH needs to start as soon as possible in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a long term position but a successful SEN TA may be offered a permanent position as per their performance.
This exciting opportunity would include assisting with lesson plans, providing extra assistance to children, and recording and reporting a child's progress to the teacher.
Note: Eligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role)

Responsibilities:
7. Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
8. Lesson/work planning for the students you are working with
9. Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your student's learning
10. Report back to parents and teachers regarding the students progress
11. Supporting children's physical, social and emotional well-being
12. Completion of daily records for pupils
13. Classroom preparation for the following school day
Requirements:
14. Experience working with SEN pupils
15. UK work permit
16. Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
17. Ability to assist teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment for children with social, emotional and mental health needs
18. Understanding of autism
19. Strong work ethic and positive attitude
20. Enhanced DBS on a update service
