An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager with a successful housebuilder and developer. The role will oversee a range of projects across the Kent region. With a recent turnover of over £150 million and a strong track record of successful operations in the UK, this position plays a crucial part in the company's continued growth and success.
Reporting directly to the Group HSEQ Director, this position will play a central role in embedding a culture of compliance, performance excellence, and audit readiness across all parts of the organisation.
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager will include:
Conducting monthly scored QA audits across all sites and business units and ensuring non-conformances are closed out promptly.
Liaising with third-party certification bodies and maintaining external accreditations and certifications.
Leading the internal audit programme across multiple ISO standards (ISO 14001, 90011, 50001, 27001 & 45001).
Advising project teams and operational managers on QA and compliance matters across construction, sustainability, training, transport, and health & safety. The successful Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager have:
Proven experience in a similar QA or compliance management role, ideally within construction or housebuilding.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards (particularly ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001) and experience managing audit programmes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
